Bio

Mrs. Fay Nichols, age 91, of Winnsboro, passed away Wednesday, April 25, 2007 in Winnsboro. She was born on July 13, 1915 to the late Joe H. and Dollie Cain Allen in Hopkins County. She was a WHS graduate Class of "33, she was a master seamstress for the Tedda Tog Co. of Winnsboro. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Winnsboro, and also attended Pine Street Baptist Church. She married Mr. Buford Nichols in Muskogee, Ok., on December 5, 1937; he preceded her in death in 1973, also preceding her are six sisters, five brothers, and a great-grandson, Nicholas Morris in 2003. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Brewerof McKinney; one son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Sherry Nichols of Winnsboro; one brother, Hubert Allen of Whittier, Ca.; one sister-in-law, Evelynn Allen of Los Angeles, Ca.; five grandchildren, Sharece Brewer, Laurie Burgess and husband Jon, Shannon Brewer, Chad Nichols, Shane Nichols; three great-grandchildren, Gavin Burgess, Madison Nichols, Beth Nichols; and numerous nieces and nephews.
