Wilma Nell Carr, age 80, of Naples, Texas, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 at her home. Wilma was born April 3, 1943, in Waco, Texas to Abraham Lincoln Bowman and Dorthy Mae Riddlehuber Bowman. Wilma was a member of Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church in Daingerfield, Texas. She was a homemaker. Wilma enjoyed gardening, garage and estate sales, and being outdoors. Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Evelyn Looper and Jaunita Knoll; and two grandsons, Tracey Jackson and Ron Galloway. Survivors include her husband Rodney Carr of Naples, Texas; two daughters, Teresa Jackson of Naples and Shelia Taylor and wife Vicki Smith of Naples; two stepsons, Johnny Carr and wife Ester of Downsville, Louisiana and Tony Carr and wife Kami of Daingerfield, Texas; one stepdaughter, Jana Carr of Pensacola, Florida; twelve grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at Springhill Cemetery in Naples with Bro. Ted White officiating.
