LaVerne May (Bargman) Hyde was born on November 28, 1933, in Sprague, Nebraska to George and Mary (Fisher) Bargman and passed away on June 7, 2024, in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 90 years, 6 months and 10 days. She was united in marriage to Johnny Hyde on July 7, 1969, in Stillwell, OK. After Johnny retired from the service, the couple moved to Lincoln, NE where they lived until 1985 before moving to Staplehurst, NE. LaVerne was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was always there for her family and friends when they needed her the most. Her abundant love for her family and friends was felt by many. She loved to play bingo and met lifelong friends there. She stayed as active as she could right up until her passing. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. LaVerne is preceded in death by her parents, George and Mary Bargman; husband, Johnny Hyde; daughters Connie McPherson and Vicky Giles; granddaughter Carrie Galvon; sisters, Betty Kadavy, Delores Wilke, Millie Lance; brother, Elmer Bargman.
