Bio

He was a son of Alfred Douglas Young and Jane Watson Sanford. He married Cyrena Eugenia Stilson in 1878 and they were the parents of fourteen children. "Squire Dagbert Young, a resident of Orangeville for the past twenty years, died of pneumonia at midnight of Wednesday of this week. While the immediate cause of his death was pneumonia he has been ailing for the past five years or more with a complication of stomach and kidney trouble. Deceased leaves a widow and thirteen children, and six grandchildren." -The Castle Dale Progress.
