Arnold Gene Hogan MAY 28, 1938 – MAY 14, 2024 IN THE CARE OF Boice Funeral Home Arnold Gene Hogan, affectionately known as "Papa," peacefully passed away on May 14, 2024, at his home in Fresno, CA, at the age of 85. He was born on May 28, 1938, in Fresno, CA. He is survived by his wife Patricia, daughters Melissa (Matt) O'Brien and Jennifer (Matt) Beliveau, step-sons Greg (Emily) Light and Shawn (Rosie) Light, grandchildren Bradley (Mackenzie) Van Bindsbergen, Kendall (Johnnie) Van Bindsbergen, Ashley (Kevin) Wheat, Severin Light, Breanna (Parker) Ross, Julien Light, Mason Beliveau, Andrew Light, Olivia Light, and Everett Light, and great-grandchildren Bryson Wheat, Kayson Wheat, Arabella Van Bindsbergen, Mattie Ross, and Kylize Van Bindsbergen. Arnold was a proud veteran who served his country in the Army. He retired from a long career in trucking in 2004. He loved working on and restoring classic cars. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. Arnold will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. A graveside service for Arnold will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024 from 10:00 AM at Redbank Cemetery, 11548 E Shaw Ave, Clovis, CA 93619 Contributions in memory of Arnold can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 8880 Rio San Diego Dr suite 900, San Diego, CA 92108 or Trinity Southern Baptist Church, 4890 E Holland Ave, Fresno, CA 93726.
