RoseMarie Anne Stava February 26, 1939 – May 9, 2024 Beloved daughter, mother, and grandmother. RoseMarie was born on February 26, 1939 in Brainard NE to the loving parents of Frank and Ann Redja and a sister Elaine. A few years later, they moved to a farmstead near Mead NE, where she grew up raising chickens, riding horses, and learned to play the accordion. When she was a junior, the family moved to Lincoln. At a dance, she met the love of her life – Dennis. They were inseparable and spent the next 56 years together till Dennis was called home. She worked for a surgeon's office and also enjoyed a long and rewarding career working for the State of Nebraska. Rosemarie cherished her faith and was very active in the church. She participated in a holy hour of adoration since 1977 and was a member of the Red Hats, Prime timers, the widows lunch bunch, Grief ministry, and Legion of Mary groups. She was a caring, devoted mother that made sure family came first. Her smile was contagious. She also enjoyed photography, playing cards, and gardening. She is survived by her children: Cindy Miller, Anne (Brent) Manning, and David (Jane) Stava. Grandchildren: Chris Manning, Amanda (Tim) Whetstone, and Holly (Max) Vandenhul. Sister: Elaine (Dennis) Hruby. Rosemarie was preceded in death by her husband Dennis, parents, and son Michael. A rosary will be at 10:00 AM followed at 10:30 AM by a mass of Christian burial on May 22, 2024, at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, 7900 Trendwood Drive Lincoln, NE. A graveside service will be held after lunch.
