Bio

James Coleman Harrod September 10, 1943 — February 23, 2024 James "Jim" Coleman Harrod entered Heaven to join his beloved Lord on February 23, 2024. He is known by his family as "Johnny" and friends as "Jim". He was born in Wade, Oklahoma on September 10, 1943 and was preceded in death by his parents, Laynie and Christine Harrod and brother, George Harrod. He is survived by his wife, Karen of 53 years; daughter, Stacey; grandchildren, Nicholas, Journey; and sisters, Suzanne Brown, Jean Thompson. Jim served in the U.S. Air Force and spent a 40 year career at Ling Temco Vought. He was an avid supporter of Mission Arlington where he volunteered in many different areas. He loved driving the bus to pick up children for the Easter Egg Hunt! He loved the outdoors and spent many retirement days fishing with friends and working on his farm in Oklahoma. Jim was a follower of Jesus, good friend to many, loving husband, father and grandfather. We were so blessed to have him in our life!
