Daniel Frank Kresta, 87 of Moulton, Texas passed away peacefully on May 5, 2024 in Katy, Texas. He was born on February 10, 1937 to Henry and Agnes (Welfl) Kresta in Moulton. Daniel married Joyce Zimmerman Kresta on June 20, 1959 in Moulton. Daniel leaves behind his son Allan Kresta and wife Cindy of Houston, daughter Sharon Jones of Fulshear, and Donna Perez and husband Tommy of Moulton, grandchildren Jennifer Kresta and husband Sheldon Lester, Ryan Kresta and wife Stephanie, Lindsey Cavazos and husband Ray, Nicholas Perez and wife Alyssa, and Hannah Perez, great grandchildren Heidi, Wells, Cameron, Serena & Melody Kresta, Emilia & Carter Cavazos, and Reid & Ethan Lester. Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, wife, son-in-law Evan Jones, and brother Jim Kresta. Visitation will be May 8, 2024 at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral Mass Service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Moulton, Texas, with Father Gabriel Maison officiating. Burial will be in the City Cemetery. Pallbearers: Ryan Kresta, Sheldon Lester, Ray Cavazos, Nicholas Perez, Allan Kresta, and Tommy Perez.
