Bio
Loretta Rae Tatyrek was born June 6th, 1933 to Ural Raymond and Lena Mabel (Dial) Ellison in Spring Creek, OK. She passed on April 28th, 2024in OKlahoma City at the age of 90 years, 10 months, and 22 days. Loretta grew up north of the Spring Creek Church. She attended Spring Creek School 2 years, Delhi School 1 year, and Ocina School for 9 years, where she graduated with the class of 1951. After school, Loretta worked at the First National Bank in Sayre, OK. On October 30th 1951, Loretta married Charles Fred Tatyrek and to this union two children were born Charles and Janet. After Charles was discharged from the 45th division, he built a home on his farm one mile south and one and three quarter miles east of Spring Creek Church, where they raised the family. Charles served as a preacher for Durham and Spring Creek churches and Loretta enjoyed working with the churches. She also enjoyed her kids and grandchildren, Christopher Thomas and Charles Lee (twins), Trevor Levi and Shawn Leon, a step grandson Cameron, and all the foster kids in both Leon's family and Janet took care of.
