Bio
Nancy Jean Woody, age 87, of Queen City, Texas, went to be with the Lord, Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her residence. She was born April 13, 1937 in Texarkana, Arkansas to Frank and Nancy Sangalli. Nancy was a faithful member of First Baptist Church, Queen City. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Woody; son, William Joseph Woody; and her parents. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Terri Schaer and husband Steve of Argyle, Texas; daughter in law, Joan Woody of Lake Charles, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jacob Schaer, Emily Schaer, Amie Crochet, Amanda Woody; two great granddaughters; and a number of other family and friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at First Baptist Church, Queen City, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service, with Bro. Billy Rex Sheets officiating. Visitation will 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, April 22, 2024 at Hanner Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to the First Baptist Church, Queen City Bus Fund or the Hopeful Hearts Fund, 206 Marietta St. Queen City, Texas 75572. Interment will be in Queen City Cemetery.
