Bio

Frank George Juranek, 66, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 30, 2008. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm, with Rosary recited at 7 pm, Tuesday, September 2, at Providence Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life Mass will be at 10 am Wednesday, September 3, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylor with Msgr. Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Frank was born on November 25, 1941 in Taylor, Texas to Joseph and Agnes Milder Juranek. He graduated from St. Mary's High School and married Sherry Ann Brewer on May 7, 1966. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy as a medical corpsman from 1962 - 1965. He retired from TXU Electric after working there for more than 30 years. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the KJT. His favorite thing to do in his free time was watching football. Frank will be dearly missed by his friends and loved ones. He was proceeded in death by his wife, Sherry, his parents, Joseph and Agnes Juranek, and his brother Paul Juranek. Frank is survived by daughter Sandy and husband Steve Sanchez of Round Rock; grandchildren Valeri, Lorie, and Joshua, all of Round Rock; brothers Stanley Juranek of Taylor, Joe Juranek of Austin, Daniel Juranek of Round Rock, Michael Juranek of Taylor, sisters, Mary Ann Mokry of Taylor, Dorothy Robinson of Dickinson; and many other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Stanley Juranek, Joe Juranek, Daniel Juranek, Michael Juranek, Steve Sanchez, and Shannon Juranek.
