** Note: his obituary said "There are no services at this time" - I created this memorial based on the fact that he has a shared headstone (with his wife) at this cemetery. At the time of memorial creation the headstone pictures in his wife's memorial did not have his date of death. If an updated picture with a date of death becomes available I can remove this comment** Obituary (from the Byrum Funeral Home website): Alvin Lee Hanlon was born October 14, 1941 in Dallas, TX to Britton G. and Pauline (Redding) Hanlon and passed from this life on February 10, 2024 in Red Oak, TX. Alvin was the consummate outdoorsman. He loved the water and the woods through fishing and hunting. Traveling and camping was something he couldn't get enough of whether it involved canoeing on the Brazos River or mountain climbing in Arkansas. More than these, Alvin loved his family. He was a loving and honorable man to everyone and in every situation. He was preceded in death by the love of his life, Shirley Hanlon; his son, David Henry Lee Hanlon; his sister, Pat Hurley; and his parents. Alvin is survived by his son, John Hanlon; his daughter, Lee Annette Svrcek and husband, Aaron; his grandchildren, Christopher Britton Hanlon, Aaron Lee Svrcek, Alvin Cy Svrcek, and David Lee Hanlon; his siblings, Robert, George, Linda, and Diane; and numerous nieces and nephews. There are no services at this time. ~~ Son: David Lee Hanlon (b. June 26, 1970, d. November 28, 2015)
