Bio

Esther Helen SETTERA (1913-1990), was the 14th and youngest child of Polish-speaking-immigrants—Salomea (PATYK) & Stanley SETTERA. On her marriage license (1932), Esther listed her place of birth as "Yates, Montana" (now in Wibaux County). Social Security records list her date of birth as August 30, 1913. Esther was less than 2 years-old when her mother died in July 1945. She had a 10th grade education. On Friday/ December 16, 1932, Esther SETTERA- 19 & William McGOVERN- 32, were married by a Justice of the Peace at Harve (Hill County), Montana. The marriage ended when a divorce was granted in December 1944 in Twin Falls County, Idaho.
