Taylor Daily Press - October 25, 2002 Otillie Ruzicka, 82 lifetime resident of Taylor died in a local rest home on Wed. Oct. 23, 2002. Mrs. Ruzicka was born in Taylor on Sept. 26, 1920, the daughter of Frank and Otilie (Jirasek) Matysek. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and until her retirement had been employed with Taylor Bedding Manufacturing Co. On July 12, 1944 she was married to Jerome (Jerry) Ruzicka. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sister, Lena (Pat) Holubec, and a brother, Alfred Matysek. Rosary will be recited at 6pm Saturday Oct. 26, at Condra Memorial Chapel. Funeral Mass is scheduled at 2pm Sunday, Oct. 27, at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Msgr. Lonnie Urban officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Survivors include a sister, Ruby Satterfield, nephews, Malcolm Holubec and wife Cindy of Kyle, Marvin Matysek, Gilbert and Clifford Baran and Marcel Ruzicka and a niece Kathy Hughes.
