Mildred "Millie" Vandemore, 93, formerly of Moline, passed away, April 3, 2024, at Reflections Memory Care, Savoy, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd., Moline. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice. Millie was born on April 13, 1930, in Pollock, MO, the daughter of John and Josephine Hines. She married Richard G Vandemore on January 30, 1974. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2013. She had previously been employed at the American Legion in East Moline. Millie enjoyed spending time with family, cooking, interior decorating and playing cards. Survivors include her children, Jerry (Barbara) Propps, Linda Frantz; grandchildren, Julie Ash, Jamie Propps, Nick Frantz, Todd Frantz, Jennifer Frantz; great-grandchildren, Stacy Ash, Ryker Ash, Jacob Lund. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Richard.
