Brother of: Kenneth Allen Black 1908 - 1968 Raymond H. Black 1914 - 1969 Dorothy Black 1916 - Gordon C. Black 1917 - 1937 Cecil N. Black Cecil N. Black passed away June 15, 1995. He was born Dec. 16, 1923. Cecil worked as a store manager for Safeway Stores, Inc. for over 45 years, was the past Grand Patron of the Grand Chapter of Washington Order of Eastern Star, Past Patron of Tyler Chapter 3 times, Member of Tyler Masonic Lodge, Tyler Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Honorary Member of Lackamas, Trinity and Occidental Chapters, attended First Christian Church. He was involved with the Boy Scout of America, Little League, Tacoma Swim Club, Past Dad Advisor Demolay and Past Rainbow Dad. In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, boating and woodworking and the love for old trains. He leaves behind his wife of 48 years, Shirley ; daughters Susan (Curt) Grothem of Longview, WA, Debra Black of Anchorage, AK; son, John (Debbie) Black of Tacoma, WA, along with many grandchildren. Arrangements by Dryer Mortuary. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tues., June 20 at the Afifi Shrine Mosque, 815 So. Vassault.
