June 1899 - Frank & Josie's daughter Alice Janecek Cink was born in Douglas County, per her obituary. Unable to find family in 1900 census. 1910 census - Frank & Josie were living in Valley County, Nebraska with 7 children (Emma, Alice, Anna, Edward, Frank, Ada & Blanch) June 23, 1910, The Ord Quiz, p. 5 reported "Frank Janecek left this morning for Pleasant Hill to attend his father's funeral." Tuesday, June 28, 1910, The Saline County Democrat, p. 4 reported, "On Tuesday morning about ten o'clock, John Janecek of Pleasant Hill fell dead while picking potato bugs from the potatoes in his patch." 1920 census - Frank, Josie and 6 children (Anna, Edward, Frank, Adeline, Blanche, Louis) were listed in Vivian, Sargent County, North Dakota. He owned his farm, subject to mortgage. Feb 13, 1922 - Frank's death in Omaha was reported with survivors including his wife, 3 sons and 5 daughters, which agrees with the number of children reported in the census records. 1923 Omaha City Directory listed Josephine Janecek (wid Frank) ...rear 5403 S. 20th, same address as Edward Janecek (her son). The Social Security application of Frank's daughter Adeline Janesek Olson indicated her parents were Frank Janecek and Josie Jandret.
