His birth date is listed as Apr 9, 1857, father John Brumbaugh, mother Bloomfield on the "Record of Funeral" by Shaffer-Gay Mortuary. (Record of Funeral is dated Apr 21, 1917, Grave stone is marked 1855-1916) Suggested Edit: This death notice is out of copyright and may be posted to this memorial. Note that it says he died on Friday, April 20. FUNERAL SERVICE FOR M. BRUMBAUGH CONDUCTED MONDAY Funeral services for the late Marion Brumbaugh, who died on Friday following a week's illness from pneumonia, were held yesterday morning, the Rev. J. J. Giblin officiating. Shaffer-Gay had charge of the arrangements and interment was held in Highland cemetery. He leaves a widow and four stepchildren, together with many friends. The deceased had lived in Casper a number of years and was engaged in the draying business. He came to the city when it was a small village and is known to all the older residents of Casper, having been among the first to locate here.
