Obit: A. Glen Davis, 86, of Decatur, died 11:25 p.m. Monday (Oct. 12, 1981) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Brintlinger's Pershing Funeral Home, with visitation after 6 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Boiling Springs Cemetery. Mr. Davis was born in Sullivan, son of Green W. and Florence (Fultz) Davis. He worked at Wagner Castings, was a route supervisor for Sunshine Dairy and was affiliated with Boiling Springs Church of God. He married Vonna Jones in 1916. She died in 1955. He then married Florence Parrish in 1956. Surviving are his wife; son, Forrest "Dude" Davis of Decatur; daughters, Mrs. George (Eileene) Pfeifer and Mrs. Raymond (Rosamond) Stone, both of Decatur; stepdaughter, Mrs. Don (Barbara) Moody of Tuscola; Patty Sullivan of Decatur; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren. One brother, one half-brother and two half-sisters preceded him in death. Arlo Glen Davis is the son of Greene W and Florence (Fultz) Davis. Glen married Vonna Mae Jones on October 7, 1916.
