Bio

Daughter of the late Harry and Alpha Shockey Irvin and widow of Edward Roy "Wimp" Brumley, whe worked as a cook at various restaurants and later was the head of housekeeping for the Wayfarer Inn. She was preceded in death by two brothers, six sisters and three grandchildren. She was survived by five daughters, a son, and a sister, 27 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, ll great-great-grandchildren; and an extended family. Her funeral was held April 15, 2008, with The Rev. Clyde Irving officiating.
