ELLEN HOPPE ISELT, 88, of Katy passed away on May 9, 2008. She was born in New Ulm, Texas on August 15, 1919. Ellen was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Baytown for 50 years, and a member of Exxon Retired Annuitant Association. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lester John Iselt, sisters, Lillian Mazoch, Elsie Uhlig, brothers, Lester Hoppe, Elmo Hoppe, and her parents, August and Clara Hoppe. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kirby and Claudia Iselt, grandson, Kurt Iselt and wife Chia Lun Chung of Chicago, two step-grandchildren of Katy, Angela Fay and Bruce Fay, two great-grandchildren, Kai Iselt of Chicago, and Austin Fay of Houston, many nieces and nephews, and one brother and sister-in-law, Romeo and Selma Iselt of Bellville, Texas. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 13, at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Baytown. Interment will follow at 3:00 p.m., in New Ulm Cemetery in New Ulm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a memorial contribution to Resolutions Hospice, 8305 Knight Road, Houston, TX 77054.
