Bio
A retired nurse and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Friday, May 9, 2008, at 8:45 p.m. at Flannery Oaks Guest House. She was 86 and a native of Prairie Creek, Ark. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, May 13, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until religious service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Alec Shelton Fabre. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by two sons, Charles Bonfanti and wife Edith and Anthony Bonfanti and wife Vermelle; two sisters, Shirley Decker and husband Jerry and Mary Jane Graves; grandchildren, Charlie Bonfanti III and wife Tonya, Lisa Evans and husband Jeremy, Dawn Bonfanti and Anthony Bonfanti Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Austin Bonfanti, Zachary Evans and Abigail Evans. Preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Bonfanti; and sister, Imogene Grimshaw. She was a member of St. Pius Catholic Church. Published in The Advocate on 5/11/2008.
