Marion "Joyce" Beardall Loveridge Taylor 1927 - 2024 Marion Joyce Beardall Loveridge Taylor, age 96, of Orem, Utah, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2024, at Covington Senior Living in Farmington, Utah. She was born July 17, 1927, in Provo, Utah, to Walter Bird Beardall and Arvilla Bullock Beardall. After the death of her mother, Arvilla, in 1929, she was raised in Orem by her uncle and aunt, Clarence Duane Harris and Jennie June Bullock, Arvilla 's sister. She graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1945. She married Jack Alvin Loveridge on December 26, 1945, in Ely, Nevada. They later divorced. She married Bert LeRoy Taylor on November 22, 1986, in the Provo Utah Temple. They shared a love for travel and building their cabins. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Joyce served as a Junior Sunday School coordinator, Primary presidency, Relief Society president, ward organist and Relief Society pianist. She was a volunteer organist in the Salt Lake Temple and Mount Timpanogos Utah Temple. For many years she was an accompanist for Merla Greenwood Thayne, an accomplished composer, author, poet, and program speaker. She also served as a service missionary for the Church at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, Utah. She worked for many years at Community Press, a yearbook printer in Orem. She also worked for Brigham Young University as a supervisor in Food Services for five years and at Utah Technical College (UVU) as food service coordinator for five years. She is survived by her children: John A Loveridge (Penny) and Sherrie Davis; eight grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
