Obituary from The Wichita Eagle, 12/8/1985, pg. 16A: Gladys M. Kizer, 77, retired restaurant owner and operator, died Friday. Service 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, White City United Methodist Church. Survivors: sons, Dale of Wichita, Gene of White City; sister, Golda Taylor of Winfield; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. Memorial has been established with the American Heart Association. Mass-Hinitt-Alexander Funeral Home, Junction City. [First married to Samuel Hedge Bidwell. Second married to William J. Kizer.]
