Nora Lee Taylor, 88, of Amber Skies and formerly of Cloudcroft, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2008, in Alamogordo, N.M. Cremation will take place in Alamogordo at PCS, entrusted to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 10, at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors Chapel in Waco. Inurnment will follow in Gholson Cemetery. Nora Lee was born in Waco, Texas, to I. C. and Millie Lee (Stanley) Chamblee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Taylor. She is survived by her daughter, Jewel Taylor Gremel, of Alamogordo; grandson, Buck Gremel and wife, Christine; and great-granddaughter, Jolene, all of Olympia, Wash. WT: 5/7/2008
