Sammie Jean Jackson, also known as "Carolyn", age 73 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 21st 2024. She was born on January 5th 1951 in Houston TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, father Samuel Cutaia and mother Josephine Cutaia and her sister Mary Jo Ousley, Husband Charles Robert Jackson of 38 years until his death in 2007, they were married on March 21st 1969. She is survived by Daughter Michele Burkhalter and her husband Brian Burkhalter, her son Charles Jackson Jr and his significant other Stephanie Knight, and Granddaughter Brittany Burkhalter and her husband Brian Mairena. Sister Sarah and her husband Benard Wagner, and sister Martha Skains, Nieces and Nephews and family that she dearly loved. Sammie worked in the insurance industry, for Farmers, All State and State farms for 45 years. She loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. She loved music and writing songs and poems and spending time with her children and granddaughter and her big Italian family and cooking delicious Italian food for her family and friends and she loved having long talks on the telephone. Our hearts are broken and she will be truly loved and missed forever. We love you our guardian angel until we meet again in heaven. A visitation for Sammie will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Earthman Resthaven, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. The Rosary is scheduled to occur at 9:00AM on Wednesday February 28, 2024 with the funeral service to follow from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A committal service will occur Wednesday, February 28, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM, 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. Earthman Resthaven Funeral Home
