Bio

Paul Edward Krysinski was born Feb. 25, 1927, in Wooten Wells area of Bremond. The eldest son of Antone Krysinski and Lula Warhol Krysinski. Paul spent his formative years as many of the young, at the time, doing what had to be done to survive as a member of the "poorest of the poor" share croppers. Paul left the farm in his teens to go and live with his Aunt and Uncle Mary and Mike Franko and their children in Fort Worth. They had a grocery store, Franko's Grocery on Azle Avenue. The Franko's took him in and treated him as their own. He had a warm bed and enough to eat. In 1943, Paul went to work for Greyhound bus as a baggage handler making an amazing fifty three cents an hour. He spent his next 39 years working his way up to being the night time terminal manager where he served until his retirement in 1982. In September of 1950, Paul met the love of his life, Frances, who had come to work for Greyhound. The only problem was she was already married. As fate would have it, her husband passed away in 1972. Paul's dreams came true in 1973, when he and Frances got married. They were happily married for 35 years. Paul had a deep love for the home he built by his own hands. He lived there for 36 years. He also had an abiding love for his entire family and his church family. He was a friend to everyone he met. He never met a stranger. His faith and love of God sustained him his entire life. Survivors include wife, Frances Krysinski; brother, Don A. Krysinski and wife, Olga; sister, Delores Slafka and husband, Buck and numerous nieces and nephews.
