Bio

DeBora "Dee" Boyd, 72, of Cave City, Arkansas passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 at her home. She was born January 25, 1952 to Earl Clarance Woolery Sr. and Betty Lee(Cyrus) Woolery in Lincoln, Nebraska. She grew up in Greeley, Colorado. She was a loving wife, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her and to love her. She was a dedicated crafts person and enjoyed making her own clothing, blankets, and quilts. She especially enjoyed making baby blankets and knitting baby booties for family members. For many years, she was a Navy wife and traveled coast to coast while working in the Federal Civil Service. She especially enjoyed traveling to Alaska on both her 20th and 30th wedding anniversary. She retired as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from Regions Bank in 2014. She is preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John Charles Woolery; and one sister, Doris W. "Dori" Liebig. She is survived by her husband, David Boyd, together for 40 years; a brother, Earl C. Woolery, Jr., who depending on the season may be found in Idaho, Utah, Wyoming or Colorado; a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and their children that loved her dearly. She lived a simple life and wished no fanfare. As such, no funeral or services are planned at this time. Per her wishes, her ashes will be spread in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, where she was raised and as such, considered it her home state. *Obituary information courtesy of Qualls Funeral Home, Cave City, AR.
