Carol Lee Costello Laudon Carol Lee Costello Laudon of Springfield, OR passed away February 18, 2024, at the age of 75. Carol was born May 18, 1948, in Huron, South Dakota to Carroll and Natalie VanArsdale Costello. Carol lived a quiet life & loved her family. Carol graduated from Wayne High School (Nebraska) in 1966. After high school Carol attended the University of Nebraska where she received her bachelor's degree in nursing in 1970. She then went to work as a nurse at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Carol married John Laudon on June 27, 1970, and lived in Omaha, Nebraska. Carol and John had two children, Brad Laudon and Jill Laudon. The family later moved to Oregon. Carol enjoyed being a girl scout leader, sewing, cooking, and playing bingo at Spring Valley Assisted Living. She is preceded in death by her husband John D. Laudon, her parents and grandparents. Carol is survived by her daughter, Jill Laudon, son, Bradley Laudon (Cheryl); grandchildren, Dominic Tesauro, Kelsey Johnson, Taylor (Mitch) Mewsen, brother, Craig Costello (Marilyn Piper), sister, Linda (Steve) Hix, brother-in-law, Jeff Laudon, brother-in-law, Bill Neibur, and sister-in-law, Ruth Laudon. A private family service will be held at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR. Services are in the care of Major Family Funeral Home in Springfield. ~~~Major Family Funeral Home obituary
