Alice Louise Freestone Hall August 19, 1937 — November 15, 2023 Vernal, UT - The world lost a tiny woman who had a personality bigger than life. She grew up on her father's portion of the Freestone Homestead in Vernal, Utah. She always made an impression on everyone she met. She truly was sugar and spice. She would always let you know how she felt about you and that she loved you dearly. She enjoyed many years of gardening from early childhood and to the very last day she was able to. She always had a beautiful yard where she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was a true animal lover, even owning a town famous potbellied pig-Latoya. She will be greatly missed by everyone who had the experience of meeting her. She is survived by her sister, Charlene (George D.) Merkley, daughter Janet (Sam) Davis, and son Michael Hall, 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband John Thomas Hall, daughter Gail Anne Montgomery and her parents Charles Royal Freestone and Ruby May Long. Services will be held November 27th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with a viewing one hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park.
