Bio
Our beloved father, Ralph Christy Freestone, died on April 28, 2008 at the Federal Heights Rehabilitation Center in Salt Lake City, Utah at age 93 after a bout with Pneumonia and a series of falls. He was born on May 12, 1914, in Vernal, Utah, to George O. and Mary Ella Holladay Freestone. He married LaVern Jensen on January 21, 1939, in Price, Utah. His life's work was to provide for his family, and he loved to share camping, hunting and fishing with them. Survived by his daughter, Lois (Paul) Shaffer, son, Bruce (Nina) Freestone, seven grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife, parents and 11 siblings. Funeral Services will be held Monday, May 5, 2008, at 12 noon in the Bryan LDS Ward Chapel, 1621 South 1100 East. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple on Sunday, May 4 from 6-8 p.m. and Monday at the Church from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Interment: Centerville City Cemetery.
