Bio

Ronald Wesley Strunc affectionately known as "Ron-Ron" went to be with his Lord on January 26, 2024 in Ennis Texas. Ronald was born to Miles Strunc and Dorothy Patak on November 30, 1957 in Ennis Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Joe Strunc and niece Robyn Cervantes. Ron attended school at St. John and Ennis High School, graduating in 1976. Following graduation he enlisted in the US Navy proudly serving his country until 1981. He was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church, KJT Society 35, S.P.J.S.T., American Legion Post 361 and American Legion Riders Post 361. Ron had a 29 year career as a graphic artist. His proudest moment of achievement was working with the Mickey Mantle Foundation. He was an avid Texas Rangers fan who was always up for an adventure, a laugh and boundless stories. His greatest joy in life was family, grandchildren whom he loved dearly and his many, many friends. He always lived life to its fullest, where even in struggles he never gave up. Ron was known for his gentleness, generosity, love and kindness and was never without a smile and a willing hug. He will be remembered always and held close by so very many. Visitation will be Wednesday January 31, 2024 at J.E. Keever from 6:00-8:00 p.m. (Rosary at 7:00). The Funeral Service will be held Thursday February 1, 2024 at J.E. Keever Mortuary at 10:00 a.m., with burial following in St. Joseph Cemetery under the direction of J. E. Keever Mortuary, Inc.
