David Kemp, 71, of Anna Texas was born on September 30,1952 in McKinney Texas and passed away on Sunday February 18,2024, surrounded by loved ones. David Graduated from Anna high school 1972. He worked and retired from McKinney ISD and spent the last 20+ years working for the Cunningham family. David is preceded in death by his parents Diamond and Jessie Kemp. David is survived by his three children: daughter Sabrina Kemp,son David Matthew Kemp, daughter Cathleen Doyle. Sisters: Ruby Munger and Joanne Sartain. He has 12 beloved grandchildren who he adored: Samson, Sallie, Masemina, Emanuel, Josie, Paige, Angel, Madison, Romeo, Aiden, Eian and Analise. David also has 10 great-grandchildren. His dog/companion Tip Dog Kemp. Special friends Jimmy and Dede Jaresh and Burl Cunningham. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00PM Friday, February 23, 2024 at Scoggins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Highland Cemtery, in Melissa, TX. The family will receive friends one hour prior of service. The services are under the direction of Scoggins Funeral Home & Crematory, 637 W.
