CWO4, US NAVY WORLD WAR II, KOREA, VIETNAM CWO-4 Milton W. Serk, USN Ret., born on June 24, 1918 in Lynch, NE, died Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at home in Duncanville, Texas. He had been a longtime resident of Pensacola, Florida. Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Ann Courtney Serk, he is survived by his three children, Mona Gregory of Mechanicsburg, PA; Betty Helms of Cedar Hill, Texas and Robert (Bob) Serk of Brandon, SD; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Services provided by Oak Lawn Funeral Home of Pensacola, Florida. Visitation will be Monday, April 28, 2008 from 5 to 6 PM with graveside services held at Barrancas National Cemetery on April 29, 2008 at 10 AM. Published in the Pensacola News Journal on 4/27/2008.
