Bio

Parents: Michael and Irma Lehnerz He attended Holy Family High School and graduated in 1959. He went on to join the US Army as a Military Police where he served for 3 years. Following his time in the service, he received his STA Engineering License where he had worked at Safeway, Rocky Mountain News - Maintenace Manger, Keebler in Maintenance and then back to Safeway from where he retired. He had been retired for 20 years. During his retirement, Bernie enjoyed traveling with his wife, building model trains, and working in his yard and garden. Bernie is survived by his wife of 62 years, two daughters, two sons, and 11 Grandchildren. Bernie is preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Irma Lehnerz, brother, Charles Lehnerz and sister, Mary Anne Lehnerz.
