Funeral services for Cassie Lee Kirby, 93, of Wylie were held April 5, 2008, at the First Baptist Church of Wylie. Interment followed at the Nevada Cemetery. Dr. A. L. Draper officiated. Mrs. Kirby died April 2, 2008, in Rowlett. She was born Aug. 21, 1914, in Nevada to the late Richard and Eva E. (Watkins) Evans. She married Cecil Raymond Kirby May 14, 1938, in Farmersville and was a member of First Baptist Church of Wylie. Survivors include son Charles Kirby and his wife Mary of Garland; daughter Fonda Quinn and her husband Bobby of Terrell; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Arrangements were under the direction of Allen Funeral Home of Wylie.
