CIBULKA BUHL, IDAHO Nov. 9, 1926 Editor of the Colfax Co Press: After less than a week's illness Mrs. Joseph Cibulka passed away in death Tuesday, November 2nd, at seven o'clock in the morning at the family home in Buh. Mrs. Cibulka became sick on Wednesday. A doctor and a trained nurse were at once summoned, but in spite of everything that was done she succumbed. Helen Hruska was born in Chotovice, Czechoslovakia, Sept. 28,1859. She came to this country at the age of six living in the state of Iowa for a period of eight years, the family then moving to Nebraska. In 1883, she was married to Joseph Cibulka at Schuyler, Nebr. To their union were born six children, one son dying in infancy, the other five; four daughters — Augusta, Mrs. Joe Machacek, Mrs. Lawrence Roubinek, Mrs. Adolph Machacek and son Louis. All reside near Buhl Idaho. Besides the husband and children, Mrs. Cibulka is survived by her aged mother, Mrs. Helen Hruska and one sister, Mrs. John Konicek of Castleford, Idaho. Mrs. Cibulka was a member of the Z C B J lodge for about thirty-five years and also of the J C D order. The last three years of her life were happy ones. Her longing to have all her children near being fulfilled. She was a faithful wife a loving mother and sincere friend to all who knew her. Burial was in the Buhl cemetery family lot, Rev. C. Helman of the Methodist Episcopal church officiating.
