Johnnie Balusek, age 91, of Tomball, Texas passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 in Tomball, Texas. She was born on August 19, 1932 in Brookeland, Texas to Ernest and Maude Wright. Johnnie and Raymond were married for 61 years. Together they had two sons, Waylon and Gary Balusek. She retired from Texas Electric Co-op. Johnnie loved spending time in the garden and keeping up with her grandkids. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Balusek, parents, Ernest and Maude Wright, brothers, Claudie Wright, Gerald Wright, and Arlis Wright. Johnnie is survived by her sons, Waylon Balusek and wife Tammy of Tomball, TX, Gary Balusek and wife Gretchen of Spring, TX, sisters, Carolyn Joyce Pitre of Tigard, OR, and Mary Janelle Hetler and husband Tom of Jasper, TX, Grandchildren, Brooke Dinsmore and husband Mike of Durant OK, Whitney Franklin and husband Matt of Mountain Home, AR, Mason Balusek and wife Amber of Jasper, TX, Ashlyne Balusek of Denver, CO. and 7 great-grandchildren, Addy, Kynlee, Weston, Emmy, Maddox, Ellis and soon to be Colson. A graveside service for Johnnie will be held Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM at SPJST Cemetery (aka, Czech National Cemetery), Holland, TX.
