Mass of Christian Burial for Richard A. Eusterbrock age 82 of Dodge, NE will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church-Aloys with Fr. Matt Niggemeyer as celebrant. Interment with Military Honors will be in St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at Native 32 Winery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a Vigil Service and Knights of Columbus Rosary at 5:00 p.m., at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point and will continue from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Richard passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at St. Joseph's Hillside Villa in West Point, NE. Richard Aloysius Eusterbrock was born in West Point, NE on August 30, 1940 to Frank J. and Elizabeth (Timmerman) Eusterbrock. He attended grade school at Aloys and graduated from Howells High School in 1959. He worked on neighboring farms after high school. Richard served in the United States Army from December 1, 1961 until he was honorably discharged on August 6, 1962. Richard farmed and raised livestock with his brother Denis. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and enjoyed playing softball in his younger years. Survivors include- Brothers- Ed and Donna Eusterbrock of Hellertown, PA Alvin Eusterbrock of West Point, NE Sister-in-law-Joan Trygg of Omaha, NE Many nieces and nephews also survive him. Richard was preceded in death by his parents-Frank and Elizabeth Eusterbrock, brothers-Ray, Marvin, Clem & Denis Eusterbrock and a sister-Bernice Kulhanek.
