William Timmins Obituary William J. Timmins A funeral Mass for Mr. William J. "Bill" Timmins, 70, of Clermont, Fla., formerly of Streamwood and Schaumburg, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Marcelline Catholic Church, 822 S. Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg, where he will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. After Mass, cremation will be private at Countryside Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 1640 Greenmeadows Blvd. (at Barrington Road), Streamwood/Schaumburg. Born March 8, 1935, in Nebraska, he passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 13, 2005. Bill found peace with Christ at Alexian Brothers Medical Center after a brave, two-year battle with cancer, with his family at his side. Bill worked as a fraud investigator for Mutual of Omaha Insurance prior to his move to the Chicago area, where he worked many years as a real estate broker in the Northwest suburbs. He was an avid golfer, active parishioner and council member at St. Marcelline Catholic Church and a dedicated volunteer for Vitas Hospice care. Bill spent his retirement years with family and friends in Illinois and Florida. He was the beloved husband to Patricia (Sielski) and devoted husband to the late J. Ann Timmins; father to Terry (Marion), Tim (Patricia), Joe, Lori (Richard Pinney), Vicki (Robert Bernhoft), Scott (Margie) and John (Heather); stepfather to Tom (Penny), Sandra, Laura (Mike), Pat, Mary (Tim) and Julie; grandfather to Chris and Lindsey Timmins, William Timmins, Richard, Caitlin and Coder Pinney, Kelli, Bethany and Emily Bernhoft, Jacqueline and Nathaniel, Timmins, and Ellie and Dane Timmins; stepgrandfather to many grandchildren; brother of Lawrence of Chicago; and uncle to many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, preceding him in death were his daughter, Lori and sister, Pat. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, 2160 S.
