Benjamin Willhoyte was the son of Alpheus Willhoyte and Elizabeth Shell. He married Mary Jane Kennedy, 29 Oct 1867, in Nodaway Co., MO. They were parents of ten children: Samuel, Cora, Frank, Emma, Orville, Maud, Arch, Ernest, Bertha and Albert.
