Bio
On January 12th 2024, Patricia "Patty" Dee Thomas, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away at the age of 73. Patty was born on May 14, 1950 in Houston, Texas to William Burch Thomas and Edith Bean Thomas. She graduated from Lamar High School and from the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. In 1975 she married Donald Scott Thomas, II of Austin, Texas and they raised three sons, Scott, Christopher, and Trevor. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Donny, Remy, Mizuki, and Ibuki. Patty was known for her sense of adventure and tremendous love of holidays. She was a member of numerous organizations, including the Junior League of Austin and her neighborhood "sewing club." Patty was also a member of St. David's Episcopal Church.
