Bio
Carol Jean Berglund was born to Allen and Mildred (Zeleny) Berglund on December 23, 1946. She was the third of 8 children born to this unity and was the eldest daughter. Carol grew up on a farm near Marietta, where she attended both Marietta and Aquinas schools and graduated in 1965. She began her nursing career in 1978 until 1984 with the Army National Guard where she received her LPN license. She extended her service with the Army reserve until 1997. She continued her LPN nursing career until her retirement. Carol was a force to be reckoned with and one that loved deeply. Her quick wit, honest opinion, unabashed attitude, and caring spirit was pronounced throughout her life. Carol was good humored and loved her family and friends deeply. Never married, she spent much time with her family and was an amazing companion and caregiver to her parents in their later years. Chermok funeral home
