Gary Loftis, age 70, passed away on December 28, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born on July 24, 1953, in Jay, OK to Lloyd Loftis and Monnie Sharp-Loftis. Gary served in the United States Navy and was a Free Mason. He was a highly skilled welder and metal fabricator, fine spirits maker, arrowhead maker and was an extremely creative metal artist. Gary is proceeded in death by his parents, Monnie and Lloyd Loftis; his wife, Cathie Loftis of 36 years; his sisters, Sharon Beliaj and Jodi Mauk and brother, Floyd Loftis. Gary is survived by his daughters, Anna Reece, Mindy Hernandez, Della Ward and her husband Nathan; 6 grandchildren, Alayna Reece, Tayten Reece, Myles Hernandez, Madison Hernandez, Wyatt Ward and Evelyn Ward and his partner Belvea Haslett; along with his extended family and friends. Gary's family will have a private Celebration of Life Memorial Service at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Lawson's Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St. Jay, OK 74346 with Shaunda J. Lawson, 3rd Generation Owner/Funeral Director and Staff.
