Parents Robert August Marak and Marie Amelia Bohac Marilyn Marak passed away on January 2, 2024, in Wichita Falls, Texas. Rosary and visitation will be at 6:30, Thursday, January 4, at Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 1:00 PM. Marilyn was born in Olney, Texas to Robert and Mary Marak on December 18, 1940. She graduated from Seymour High School. She worked in insurance in underwriting beginning her insurance career at Texas Farm Bureau Insurance in Seymour, Texas. She retired from Williams-Dwyer in Wichita Falls, Texas. Survivors include her sister Betty Ray, brother Andy Marak and wife Sandy, five nieces and two nephews and several great nieces and nephews. Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents, longtime companion Richard Wilson, brothers; Michael, Pat, Robert (Bobby) and her niece, Melinda Brady. She was cared for by the nurses and aides at the Skilled Nursing Facility where she resided for 9 years and by Hospice of Wichita Falls for the last six months. These are wonderful, caring people who gave great care to Marilyn. Services are under the direction of Seymour Memorial Funeral Home. Seymour Memorial Funeral Home Seynour, Texas
