Frances Vondrasek August 6, 1926 - April 29, 2023 Frances Joan Vondrasek (August 6, 1926-April 29, 2023) Frances Vondrasek (nee Huttenhoff) passed away peacefully on April 29, 2023, at the age of 96. She was born in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and moved to New Lenox in 1940. Frances attended Joliet Township High School, class of 1943, and was a lifelong member of Saint Jude Catholic Church. She married the late Ronald Vondrasek in 1949 and was the loving mother of four children. Frances was employed by the New Lenox School District for almost thirty years. She was an avid reader and loved music. Frances was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed. Frances was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Owen, and a son, Michael Vondrasek. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lillian (Coughlin) Huttenhoff, her sister, Rose Mary Huttenhoff, and brothers Albert "Bud" Huttenhoff and Thomas Huttenhoff. A private graveside service at Olivet Cemetery in Joliet, IL.
