William "Paw Paw" Douthitt, Jr. 89, of Seabrook, Texas, passed away on December 18, 2023 in Seabrook, Texas. He was born on October 19, 1934 to William Goble Douthitt, Sr. and Orene (Stinecipher) Douthitt in Whitehouse, Texas. On July 10, 1997 he married Evelyn Neuendorff. William worked as an engineer for the University of Houston for many years. William loved being with his children and his grandchildren. He spent many years as a professional clown, Paw Paw the clown. William is survived by his children Robin Douthitt and wife Teresa, Richard Douthitt and wife Terry, Pamela Michelle Roark, and Kimberly Lyttle and husband David; grandchildren Billy Douthitt, Marina Douthitt, Jacinda Douthitt, Andrea Roark, Raymond Douthitt, David Lyttle, Brett Corte, and Mason Neuendorff; great grandchildren Exa, Juliette, Preston, Laynn, Havynn, Caroline, and Wyatt. William is also survived by his former wife, Shirley Koewn, the mother of their children. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Evelyn Neuendorff, and son Scott Neuendorff. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Henneke Funeral Home in Columbus, Texas. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Henneke Funeral Home. Kenneth Klimple will be officiating. Burial will take place in St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery in Columbus, Texas. Pallbearers are Billy Douthitt, Raymond Douthitt, David Lyttle, Mason Neuendorff, Ken Klimple, and Kevin Stork.
