Was part of the 9th Tennessee Cavalry Battalion, Company D as a Private then transferred to the 24th Tennessee Infantry Regiment, Company I. then he got wounded at the Battle of Perryville and then later died at a hospital in Harrodsburg, Mercer County, Kentucky Son of: Shadrach Sebastian Parker-Lawson and Rachel Barnhill Lewis Note: Shadrach's father was Shadrach Parker. After his passing, his wife, Jarutha Hardin, then married James Lawson who legally adopted her children. They would then assume the last name of Lawson. She and James Lawson would also have children. Brother of: John F, Thomas Jefferson, Elijah Richard and Shadrach Sebastian Jr. Husband of: Mary Frances Nunnelly Father of: Martha Elgiver "Lucy", Mary Margaret and John Columbus
