Gerald Wilson Stoddart Obituary GERALD WILSON STODDART - "If you can't remember me with a smile, then don't remember me at all" Our beloved father and grandfather died January 26, 2000, at his home in Orem, Utah. He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on September 8, 1919 to Robert Stoddart and Edith Barnes Stoddart. He grew up in Lehi, Utah. Gerald was the youngest of 6 children. He served his active duty in the Army Air Corp during World War II as a tail gunner on B-29 aircraft. In his later years, he was an active member of the American Legion and served as Commander. In 1943 Gerald married Klaine Smith in the Salt Lake LDS Temple and spent many wonderful years together in the Provo and Orem area. Gerald was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and is survived by his children; Wendell and Mary Ann and grandchildren; Terri, Kevin, Steven, Jeremy and Katie. He will be missed by all who knew him, but now joins his loving wife, Elaine who preceded him in death. Graveside services were held Saturday, January 29, 2000 at the American Fork City Cemetery.
