The Observer III (Lexington, Okla.), Vol. 5, No. 3, Ed. 1 Monday, March 2, 2015 Page: 8 Leroy Wheeler, 84, of Norman, OK passed from this life on February 26, 2015. He was born May 8, 1930 in Lexington, OK to Johnny and Dora Wheeler. Leroy was a 1950 graduate at Lexington High School. He was a tag agent in Norman in 1975 and served the community for 34 years. He was also a member of many clubs and organizations throughout Norman including Lion's Club, Norman Jaycees and United Way. He was preceded in death by his parents; sons, Greg and Rick Wheeler; two brothers and three sisters. No one offered more love to his family and friends than Leroy. He will be greatly missed. Services for Leroy were held Monday, March 2, 2015 at First Baptist Church of Norman, Oklahoma. Interment followed at Lexington Cemetery, Lexington Oklahoma.
